STREAM TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

Click the above link to test your internet speed.  If the "Download" speed is less than 5 mbps, you may experience buffering and skipping.

My video is choppy, pixelated, lagging, or skipping:

  • Make sure you did not lose Internet connectivity

  • We always recommend using a hard wired ethernet connection if possible

  • If you are using WIFI, make sure your wifi hardware is enabled.  You may need to try moving closer to your WIFI router

  • If you are on a home connection, make sure others in your household are not using excessive bandwidth for streaming, gaming, etc.

  • If you are using a mobile device, such as an iPhone, make sure you have enough bandwidth

  • Test your bandwidth using the link above.  Our stream will adapt quality to your available bandwidth, but if the bandwidth fluctuates greatly during playback, you might experiencing skipping, buffering, or pixelation due to reduced quality

  • If the results of the bandwidth test above are less than 10 mbps, your internet speed is extremely low.  Any additional users on your network will use additional bandwidth and most likely cause issues with viewing this live stream.  Our stream requires 5 mbps PER viewer.  So if you have multiple viewers in your office, the results of this test well indicate the number of successful simultaneous viewers by dividing the download speed by 5.

I am experiencing trouble hearing audio:

  • If you have internal speakers, make sure they are not muted

  • If you have external speakers, make sure they are powered on and are not muted

  • If you are on a mobile device, make sure you do not have any additional bluetooth audio devices connected such as headphones, car audio, bluetooth speakers, etc.

  • Make sure you did not lose Internet connectivity

  • If you are using a mobile device, such as an iPhone, make sure you have enough bandwidth

  • Certain devices might require you to click on the media player "play" button to begin the stream
